SMS FASTER USING T9

Few days back a company launched a program to reach the millions to show them how to sms faster by using the T9 on your mobile phones. So waht aer we waiting for...? LETS LEARN TO CHAT FASTER!!!

BASICS

T9 Has one basic rule.. Press one key one time for each letter. You can type a message twice faster than normal multitap method.

NOW HOW TO USE IT

1. First set your to T9. Well everyone knows how to it.
2. T9 predicts while you type what you are trying to type and hence the letters continously changes as you type. It randomly selects the word.
3. After you type the word and get the desired word you accept it by pressing "SPACE"
4. Now T9 displays the most common word that users uses and displys it. So WHAT if you NOT getting the desired word. Dont panic. So you press the NEXT KEY to see more words. It depends on the phone you are using... like it may be 0, #, *, + signs.
   

PUNCTUATION MARKS

With T9 its easy to use punctuatuon marks. HOW?

1. For that you just have to press the 1 key.
2. T9 automatically predicts the outcome. Ones you get the desired results, press space to contine to the next word. It can predict the punctuationmarks.
3. If you want something else than continue holding the 1 keyand it will show a list of punctuations to select from. Just select the one you want by scrolling down and press ok

CAPITALS

Most phones automatically starts a new sentence with a capital letter. But what if you want to do so in the middle of a sentence?

abbreviation like WHO
strongly emphasize a word like "you are fantastic."
for names like NICOLE KIDMAN

Well text in all capitals solves the problem. USE THE "#" KEY to get the desired results.

NOTE: Some phones uses top left or top right key to toggle between the options like caps or lowercase

NUMBERS

Typing the numbers is easy with T9... JUST PRESS THE KEY OF THE NUMBER YOU WANT TO AND CONTINUE HOLDING IT.

What if you want to use the numbers continuosly like punching in your mobile number?
In that case just press and hold the # key and you can see the change in the upper right corner of your screen.
Sometimes it may happen that T9 dosent recognizes the word you are trying to enter then what..?
YOU CAN GO ON TO ADD YOUR OWN..!!!!

NOTE: Not all phones have this feature so you can contact your service provider that you are interested in this feature.

slangs
URLS
WORDS OF YOUR CHOICE

WHEN YOU ARE TYPING A WORD THAT IS NOT IN YOUR DICTIONARY THEN YOU ARE CONFRONTED BY A MESSAGE saying.... ADD WORD OR SPELL

NOTE If your phone dosent show the message DONT PANIC Switch to MULTI TAB or abc

MODE and type the word then press the space key and switch to T9 again.

PHRASES

With this you can quicly combine numbers and letters to create phrases which are widely recognized. FOR EXAMPLE.. ASAP means AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

HOW TO CREAT PHRASES

• For letters press the key ones and for numbers press and hold the key.
  With T9 you can personalise your cell phone by adding EMOTICONS like SMILEYS, WINKS etc.
• Use 1 key to enter the options for emoticons
• For ex. ;-) uses 3 punctuation so you must press 1Key 3 times.

NOTE T9 can predict any word smiley or wink that you have entered before.
There is another easy way of adding words to your T9 dictionary. COMPOUND WORDS.
Well its nothing but combinig words or segments of words that T9 already knows and it creates compound words.

EXAMPLE: After you type the word you want you just press the right arrow key and add the letter you want to add and then again press the left arrow key. It will underline the whole word and take it into the dictionary.
